About

Guy Hayes is a writer and principal consultant at Write Again Creative & Consulting, LLC, based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

For more than a decade he has kept the 6P journal — a slow, honest record of essays, verse, and photographs under six pillars: probity, poetry, prose, photog, polity, and passion. He writes about civil rights, history, literature, and the American experiment, and has contributed interviews and essays to the Indianapolis Recorder, including a conversation with Larry Smith marking the centennial of James Baldwin's birth.

His first novel, Martyr for the Kingdom: Uriah the Hittite, tells the story of the man history often forgets — Uriah the Hittite — and is available now.
